Prisma UT

    The Prisma UT module carries all the basic and advanced functions of the Sonatest flaw detector. Prisma UT can optimize near-surface resolution or provide damping to control energy transmission. The ability to capture images is the standard combined with the automatic reporting function, so that the report portfolio is formatted into relatively customized customer information, such as company logos, etc. The instrument also includes widely used defect quantitative techniques, such as DAC, AVG/DGS, TGC and AWS.

Prisma PA

     Ultrasonic phased array technology has been determined to be an advanced non-destructive testing method. Phased array technology allows users to have a wider detection range, such as being able to cover the complete welding range without the need to move or reposition the probe. This may be due to the sound beam emitted by the phased array, whose steering can be controlled electronically. The display result of this technique is to comprehensively display the cross-section of the inspection part.

Prisma TOFD

     Ultrasonic Time-of-Flight Diffraction (TOFD) has been widely used in the past ten years. With Prisma TOFD, Sonatest brings truly portable and powerful TOFD testing equipment to the market. It is well known that TOFD can detect wall thicknesses as thin as 6mm (1/4"). Prisma provides the best digital frequency in its category, which can be as high as 200MHz.
