working principle


The basic principle of this instrument is: X-rays generated by the excitation source of the X-ray tube irradiate the sample to be tested. After the atoms in the sample are irradiated by the X-rays, the inner electrons are excited, and the inner layer of the atoms produces empty orbits. Since the inner empty orbital energy is low, other higher energy layer electrons enter the inner orbit under the premise of certain transition rules, and the energy difference between the inner and outer orbits is released in the form of characteristic X-rays, as shown in the figure. . Because the atomic numbers of different atoms are different, and the energy range of the atomic orbital is also different, the characteristic X-rays produced by different elements are also different. The characteristic X-ray peak position can be used to determine the type of each element in the sample, and the characteristic X-ray exposure (spectral peak intensity) can be used to determine the content of the element.

Operation method and matters needing attention


Instrument use




Switch machine


This instrument uses a one-button switch and, when it is turned on, press the power button at the bottom of the screen to start the system; press the power button in the power-on state to turn off the device.




Instrument settings


In the main page, you can enter the setting function of the instrument by pressing the button, as shown in the figure below. In this function menu, there are "light tube mode", "analysis database", "date and time", and "language" for customers to choose and use.


Note: The "measurement parameter" button is used by our company's engineers and technicians for debugging and maintenance. Non-professionals should not change it without authorization, otherwise it will cause measurement data errors.


 


When the measured materials differ greatly, it is difficult to meet the accurate analysis of various materials with one analysis database. Users can select the correct database in the "Analysis Database" function according to their needs to make the analysis data more accurate.


In the “Light tube mode” option, when “Auto” is selected, the X-ray tube will be turned on with the trigger of the “Trigger switch” during the measurement process, and will be turned off automatically after the measurement is completed; when “Manual” is selected, the X-ray tube Turn on and off human control.


The "Date and Time" function is convenient for customers to adjust the time and date. At the same time, the X-ray alloy element analyzer has built-in "Chinese", "English" and "Korean" languages, please choose according to your needs.




Instrument calibration


Before measuring unknown samples, in order to ensure the accuracy of the instrument, it is recommended to measure the standard control sample of the instrument. View the control sample measurement results and compare with their standard values. If the measurement results are ideal, you can directly measure the unknown sample; if the measurement value has a large error, the instrument needs to be calibrated.


The specific operation of standardization is as follows: place the control sample in the test window, click the "standardize" button at the top of the main interface to start measuring the sample, and the instrument will automatically calibrate.




Sample determination


① After the start-up is completed, the instrument displays the main interface, please confirm the light tube switch mode before measuring the sample. When measuring samples, make sure that the light tube indicator is on, otherwise the measurement cannot be performed.


② Turn on the light tube switch: X-ray alloy element analyzer provides two light tube switch modes: "automatic" and "manual". The "light tube switch key" at the bottom left of the machine display can turn off or turn on the light tube with a single press of a button. You can use the "light tube indicator light" to judge whether it is turned on.


③ After confirming the start mode of the light tube, start measuring the sample. Place the sample in the "detection window", click the "measurement" button on the main page to enter the measurement interface, click or tap the "trigger switch" button to start the measurement. The element and its content, and the grade judgment information of the sample will be displayed in the measurement table.


In this interface, the and buttons respectively represent the measurement and measurement end commands, which represent the display of the measurement results in the spectrum mode, the storage of the measurement results, and the return to the previous menu. Indicates the import of the database, which means taking photos and records of the measured samples.


④ Select the camera function, in the prompt page, take a picture that you are satisfied with, "√" means to choose to store it on a U disk or SD card, and "×" means to give up saving.

This instrument provides two result display modes: result mode and spectrum mode.


 


Result mode


Result mode: In the default result mode, the sample information is displayed in the form of element percentage value. If the measured material has a backup in the grade database, the grade information of the sample will be displayed in the measurement interface.


Spectrum mode: In the result mode, click to enter the spectrum mode, the spectrum information of the sample is clear at a glance. In the spectrum mode, through the button, the spectrum can be moved freely in the interface, and the button can be used to select any position in the spectrum in the form of a rectangular frame to zoom in or out the selected spectrum area, and return to the initial stage of the spectrum. Status, return to the measurement menu.




Data saving and export




Data preservation


In the main measurement page, it represents the storage of measurement data. Click this icon to enter the data storage interface. The X-ray alloy element analyzer supports automatic or manual storage of data and spectra to SD card or U disk. Please choose according to your needs.


 


Data output


Export via U disk: Connect the U disk to the data cable and insert it into the data interface of the instrument. Click the "Result Query" button at the top of the main operation interface, select the date range of the data to be exported, and select the data point to be exported "Export selected results", or select "Export all" to export all data within the date range. Connect the U disk to the computer to view the relevant data.

In the main interface of the instrument, click "Result Query", select the measurement date range, the system will query all the saved measurement results within the range, and the test serial numbers are arranged by time. Select the sample sequence to be viewed, the element content in the sample and the grade information of the sample will be displayed in the table.

Select "Analysis Report" in the main interface, and select the measurement results to be exported in the left dialog box. Click "Export Selected" to export the selected results, and select "Export All" to export all the measurement results.






Information options


The "Information Options" in the main interface provides functions such as database upgrade, program upgrade, database export, measurement result export, and measurement result import.


Note: These functions are temporarily only used by our company's customer service and maintenance personnel, and general users should not modify them at will.


 


Instrument care and maintenance


Precautions


1. Do not place the product in an environment that is too high or too low in temperature and corrosive.


2. Please be careful when using it, handle it gently, and never drop it.


3. During use, please make sure that the detector window is not damaged by sharp materials. Once damaged, it cannot be repaired.


4. It is forbidden to use or store in explosive, strong electromagnetic field, flammable gas places, otherwise it may cause fire or explosion.


5. Do not expose the product to the rain and put it in the water for a long time.


6. Do not drop, throw or subject the product to strong impact.


7. The X-ray alloy element analyzer can support two power supply modes: battery power supply and power supply. When using the power supply, please use the 220v AC power supply.


8. Please do not try to disassemble this product by yourself. The repair work is limited to the original factory staff. The company is not responsible for the damage caused by the self-dismantling machine.


9. If you feel abnormal during operation, stop the current operation, shut down, and then contact the supplier. If you have any questions during the use of the product, please contact our company's customer service staff, and we will serve you wholeheartedly.


10. Please use original accessories. Our company is not responsible for any damage to the instrument caused by other accessories.


11. If the instrument is not used for a long time, please take out the battery and keep it properly. Troubleshooting


① Press the power "on/off" button, but it can't be turned on?


The battery voltage is low, charge or replace the battery box, and then turn on again.


② How do I know that the device is charging?


The charger indicator is red to indicate that the battery is charging, and the indicator is green to indicate that the battery is fully charged.


③ How to deal with a black screen on the monitor?


If a black screen appears on the display, the filter capacitor of the voltage plate is burnt out. Please return it to the supplier for repair in time.
