Magnetic field indicator

This kind of magnetic field indicator can help you detect and measure the strength and direction of the magnetic field during magnetic particle inspection. Rugged and compact 10 Gauss and 20 Gauss magnetometers and octagonal test blocks can provide you with a variety of options for measuring the residual magnetism, magnetic field direction and AC/DC magnetic field strength of workpieces in magnetic particle inspection applications.

A flexible and versatile indicator that can be used to detect the intensity level and direction of the magnetic field during the magnetic particle inspection process. Each indicator contains three milled grooves of the same depth, with widths of 0.0075 inches, 0.009 inches and 0.010 inches.

The indicator is composed of magnetic steel sandwiched between two brass plates. Designed for repeated setting and monitoring of magnetic field strength in wet and dry magnetic particle testing.
