By reading the scattered waves in the material of the workpiece, the thickness of the hardened layer can be measured, and the measured value can be displayed in a high-precision digital format.

The hardened and hardened layer depth measuring instrument "HARD ECHO" uses ultrasonic waves to transmit inside the workpiece.

Due to the different metallographic structure of the hardened and quenched layer and the base material layer, the transmission of ultrasonic waves will be scattered.

By measuring the position where the scattered echo occurs, the thickness of the hardened and quenched layer can be determined.

This equipment does not damage the measuring work piece and displays the test results in digital form. It is an epoch-making measuring instrument.

According to the workpiece to be measured, selecting the appropriate probe and measurement conditions can more clearly identify the interface between the hardened layer and the base material layer, and further improve the accuracy of the measurement.
