Magna-Mike 8600 Thickness Gauge
Magna-Mike 8600 is a portable thickness gauge that uses a simple magnetic method to perform reliable and highly repeatable thickness measurements on non-ferrous materials. The operation of the Magna-Mike instrument is very simple. When measuring, press or move the magnetic probe on one side of the material to be measured, and put a small target steel ball (or target disc, target steel wire) on the other side of the material or in the container. The Hall-effect sensor of the probe measures the distance from the end of the probe to the target steel ball. The measured distance is immediately displayed as a thickness reading on the screen in easy-to-read numbers.
