The National Vocational Education Reform Implementation Plan issued by The State Council in 2019 clearly states that vocational education and general education are two different types of education with equal importance. Today, with the rapid development of high-end equipment manufacturing industry, higher vocational education has trained a large number of high-quality technical personnel for China.

Contrast "NDT" curriculum knowledge and skill, the school did not establish a nondestructive testing training center, but in the testing professional training room, on the basis of precision measuring scattered acquisition and radiographic testing, ultrasonic testing, eddy current testing and other related technical training equipment, and has no skill points against curricula, and to develop advanced practice testing project, only courses in a test, The content is relatively simple, the training skills are not clear, and there is a lack of professional and systematic "NDT" course practice teaching platform for teachers and students to "learn".

Course team and teaching methods


The curriculum team of the school only has teachers of specialized courses in the school, but no part-time teachers from enterprises, and no specialized information database of part-time teachers has been established, which brings great inconvenience to the off-campus practical training of later courses. The teaching method is traditional classroom teaching and experimental practice, which leads to low learning interest of students and poor teaching effect. Moreover, the school does not provide an off-campus training environment, which is not conducive to the accumulation of post experience and the formation of school-enterprise co-education and co-management talent training mechanism.


"Nondestructive testing" curriculum reform


In order to adapt to the adjustment of the industrial structure of intelligent manufacturing and the industry's new demand for testing talents, form a better professional structure and optimize the training of talents, the university has decided to carry out the teaching reform of "nondestructive testing".

The teaching team actively connects with the information database of part-time teachers from professional testing enterprises, that is, on the basis of the full-time teaching team in the university, it employs technical experts and skilled craftsmen from enterprises in the non-destructive testing industry as part-time teachers outside the school to serve the revision of professional talent training programs and the teaching and management of practical training outside the school. Form a teaching team of "NDT" course with "on-campus full-time job + off-campus part-time job".

The teaching method

In the school, the NDT training center carries out the teaching of "NDT" course, which integrates teachers' explanation and demonstration with students' practice and consolidation. Outside school, the school set up training for weeks, the nondestructive testing industry related to regional enterprise communication, reasonable arrangement of students into the factory training, professional skills training for students in the real business environment, enhance the student to the nondestructive testing equipment debugging, operation and maintenance capabilities, train the students' ability to solve practical production problems. The duration of the training week should be 1 to 2 weeks according to the actual situation of the school and regional enterprises.


In the course teaching implementation process, classroom teaching is carried out by full-time teachers in accordance with the teaching process of the school, and the teaching method of integrating theory and practice is adopted to realize the effective connection between knowledge and skills. During the special week for off-campus training, full-time teachers in the school and part-time teachers in enterprises jointly carry out teaching and management. Full-time teachers in the school focus on guidance and management, while part-time teachers in enterprises focus on on-site teaching and demonstration, forming a school-enterprise co-education and co-management mode of off-campus training. At the end of the training, full-time teachers and part-time teachers of the enterprise jointly complete the evaluation of the students.


The reforms

There are 2 small classes in each grade of testing major. Since the curriculum reform of Testing major was implemented in 2018, the testing class 3181, as a pilot class, has performed well in curriculum assessment, vocational qualification examination, skill competition and other projects. The strategy of jointly developing curriculum content, jointly implementing professional teaching and student management, and jointly carrying out teaching evaluation should be carried out by the school and enterprise, so as to reconstruct teaching contents, teaching methods, academic evaluation and other talent cultivation elements, and strengthen students' professional skills and professional qualities.
